Ian Graig explores the implications of the atomic scientists

Legacies of the Manhattan Project: Reflections on 75 Years of a Nuclear World, a new book exploring the political, social, scientific, ethical, and health implications of the Manhattan Project, includes a chapter by Ian Graig of Global Policy Group. In “Political Scientists,” Graig discusses the implications of the “atomic scientists” movement in the postwar emergence of a politically engaged scientific community. The impetus of the book, part of the Hanford Histories series, was a conference held in Hanford, Washington, near one of the key Manhattan Project sites.
