Climate and Environmental Policy

Climate Change Regulation and Legislation

Global Policy Group®  has assisted clients on U.S. federal, regional, and state legislative and regulatory initiatives related to climate change, including:

  • proposed cap-and-trade legislation in the U.S. Congress and key issues related to such legislation, including emissions caps, allowances, offsets, auctions, and border adjustment provisions

  • alternative approaches to addressing climate change, including carbon taxes

  • U.S. policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by promoting the use of renewable energy technologies, like wind and solar, and by improving energy efficiency

Environmental Regulation and Legislation
